The expansion pack requires that Superior Drummer® 2.0 be installed and is both Mac OS X and Windows compatible. Platinum Samples is the first third party company to release Expansion Packs for Toontrack Music’s best selling Superior Drummer® 2.0 software. Evil Drums also includes MIDI grooves performed by Pat Wilson (Weezer, The Special Goodness). The Toontrack Platinum Samples Joe Barresi Evil Drums SDX is a Superior Drummer 2.0 Expansion Pack of the Platinum Samples Master Engineer series of drum. The result is an expansion pack which sounds great as soon as you load a kit. They were meticulously tuned, compressed and EQ’d by a master craftsman. The Glamouflage Kit has been fully mix processed through Joes SSL console and personal outboard gear. Using the Joe Barresi Evil Drums The Platinum Samples Expansion Packs are Engineered Drums for BFD - meaning the drums were recorded like they would be on a recording session. Expertly tuned, the drums were played by Bobby Jarzombek.

The Evil Joe Barresi Glamouflage Kit was recorded to analog 2' tape at Sound City Studios through their classic Neve 8028 console.
